Filming will Impact Local Roads

Business

**FROM THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE***

Woodridge Productions will be filming scenes for a Sony Pictures TV pilot called Hail Mary in the Dahlonega Square during the days and into the evenings of Wednesday, March 30th and Thursday, March 31st.

To ensure the safety of the general public, cast and crew members, they have requested a filming permit from the City of Dahlonega that includes the following:

• FULL CLOSURE of East Main St/Public Square North (WESTBOUND LANE ONLY), between N Meaders St and N Chestatee St – Wednesday, 3/30 @ 5:00 AM thru 10:00 PM and Thursday, 3/31 @ 7:00 AM thru 11:59 PM

• FULL CLOSURE of N Park St, between Public Square North and Warwick St – Wednesday, 3/30 @ 5:00 AM thru 10:00 PM and Thursday, 3/31 @ 7:00 AM thru 11:59 PM

• FULL CLOSURE of Chestatee St, between Public Square North and Warwick St – Wednesday, 3/30 @ 5:00 AM thru 10:00 PM and Thursday, 3/31 @ 7:00 AM thru 11:59 PM

They are sensitive to the impact that filming can have on the daily operations of a residential/business district. Several off-duty Lumpkin County Sheriffs will be onsite during their time in town to ensure the successful flow of traffic through the area. All equipment and support trucks will be parked within our closures or on private property to avoid any unnecessary congestion. It is with these issues in mind that they approach the logistical needs of the production, so they can effectively work to minimize any inconveniences to those in the area.
