Dawsonville man is charged with beating, threatening to kill his girlfriend

DAHLONEGA, Ga. — A 25-year-old Dawsonville man was arrested last week and charged with beating his girlfriend, pointing a firearm at her and threatening to kill her if she left the home.

Dustin White was arrested on a warrant after Erica Ann Taylor, 21, of 165 Greenwood Parkway reported that she and White were involved in an argument and White pulled her hair, slammed her head into a laundry room wall so hard it made a hole in the wall and then pointed a loaded .45-caliber Glock firearm to her forehead.

Taylor, who lives inside Lumpkin County near the Dawson County line, said she attempted to call 911 but White took her cell phone away and left. She then drove to the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office to report the incident. Dawson County deputies escorted her to the Lumpkin County line where they turned her over to Lumpkin County authorities.

Deputies observed bruises on her forehead and dried blood on her lip and ear. They then traveled to the Greenwood Parkway residence attempting to arrest White, but he was not there.

He was arrested on a Lumpkin County warrant March 28. He is charged with aggravated assault, battery, theft by taking and manufacturing dangerous drugs.

This is not the same story the “victim” told us. Sounds sketchy to me!
