Zora Hester Robinson: Obituary

Mrs. Zora Hester Robinson, age 90, of Dahlonega, GA, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega, GA.

Mrs. Robinson was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. She was a homemaker and attended Community Chapel Church in the Frogtown Community of Lumpkin County.

Mrs. Robinson was the daughter of the late James Wesley “Coot” Hester and Sarah Ravan Hester and was also preceded in death by her husband, J C Robinson; brothers and sisters, Maude and Claude Hester, Gomer Hester, Amanda Gerrellls, Willis Hester, Mattie Eaton, and Bill Hester.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Bobby Robinson, Larry and Jan Robinson, all of Dahlonega, GA; grandsons, Robby Robinson and Josh Robinson. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Robinson are scheduled for 11 AM Sunday, February 14, 2016 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Shane Savage will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Community Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Sunday morning from 9 AM until 11 AM.
