Henry Alton Bridges: Obituary

Mr. Henry Alton Bridges, age 74, of Dahlonega passed away on February 23, 2016.

Born March 14, 1941 to George and Blanche Bridges. Mr. Bridges served in the Army during Vietnam and was retired as a teacher from Lanier Tech. He was a member of the American Legion and the Jaycees.

Alton is survived by his sons Matthew William Bridges (Marcy) of Macon, GA and Russell Jeffey Bridges (Jennifer) of Ringgold, GA; brother Wade D. Bridges (Kathy) of Cumming, GA; grandchildren Olivia Grace Bridges of Macon, GA, Alanis Bridges of Ringgold, GA, and Ian William Bridges of Ringgold, GA.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 27th, 2016 at 12pm at the Chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 11am until service time. Military Honors will be provided.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Meals on Wheels.
