Thomas E. Mainor, age 80, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016.
Mr. Mainor was born in Cuthbert, GA December 3, 1935. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He had lived in Lumpkin County since 2004 and was retired from the Lykes Meat Packing Company.
He was the son of the late John Franklin Mainor and Vera Todd Mainor and was also preceded in death by brothers Martin, James, and Curtis Mainor.
Mr. Mainor is survived by his wife Betty Mainor, Dahlonega, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Tom and Angie Mainor, Omaha, NE, and Eric Mainor, Dahlonega, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Bill Bralick, Canton, GA; brother, Carlton Mainor, Sylvester, GA; sister, Shirley Sinquefield, Edison, GA; grandchildren, Anthony, Josh, Austin, Addison, Krystal, Pam, and Reanna. Several great-grandchildren and other relatives also survive.
Services for Mr. Mainor will be Friday, March 11, 2016 at 2 PM at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
Military honors will be provided by the Veterans Alliance Honor Guard.
