Mr. Robert Luther Ridley: Obituary

Robert Luther Ridley, age 68, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Tuesday July 26, 2016 at Regency Hospital in Macon, GA.

Robert was a native and lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. He was a retired barber and was a member of Yahoola Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Robert was the son of the late Lewis and Lena Gaddis Ridley.

Robert is survived by children, Robbie and his wife Tina Ridley, Griffin, GA, Scott and his wife Tara Ridley, Cartersville, GA, Willie Ridley and Rodney Ridley, Chad, Kim, Melena, and Joey Gooch, all of Dahlonega, GA; sister, Nancy Ridley, Warner Robins, GA; brother, Willard Ridley, Dahlonega, GA. A host of grandchildren and loved ones remain behind to mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Robert are scheduled for 1 PM Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Yahoola Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Thursday July 28, 2016 from 5 PM until 7 PM and again on Friday from 10 AM until service time.
