Mr. Edward “Pete” Anderson: Obituary

Edward “Pete” Anderson, age 72, a lifelong resident of Dahlonega, GA passed away peacefully on August 16, 2016.

He was the son of the late Grover and Birdie Mae Anderson and was also preceded in death by sons, Peanut Anderson and Tony Anderson; brother, Bud Anderson; and sisters, Cora Lee Lilly and Deanie Nall.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Frankie Anderson; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Ester Anderson, Dahlonega, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Martha Anderson, Jerry and Darlene Anderson, all of Dahlonega, GA; sisters, Bessie Peters, Dahlonega, GA and Flossie Smith, Gainesville, GA; granddaughters, Danielle Twitty, Tonya Kimbrell, Jessica Anderson, and Brittany Anderson; grandsons, Leon Anderson, James Anderson, and Joseph Anderson; and four great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Edward are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday August 18, 2016 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral home in Dahlonega, GA on Wednesday August 17, 2016 from 4 PM to 9 PM and again on Thursday August 18, 2016 from 10 AM until time of service.
