Mr. Gary Junior Head: Obituary

Gary Junior Head, age 59, a long-time resident of Dahlonega, GA passed away on September 21, 2016.

Gary was an associate member of the US Mountain Ranger Association. He is specifically being honored by the USMRA. He was proud to be among them and to have been known as their friend.

He was the son of the late Junior Dewey and Annie May Petty Head.

Gary is survived by his wife, Debbie Head, Dahlonega, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Candace and Kenny Wells, Dahlonega, GA; daughter, Cadea Head, Dahlonega, GA; grandsons, Dalton and Dustin Wells; brother, Clyde Head, Gainesville, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Ronald Grizzle, Carnesville, GA; and special friend, Will Brooke. Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Gary are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday September 24, 2016 at Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Pastor Ken Anderson will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Friday September 23, 2016 from 1 PM to 9 PM and again on Saturday September 24, 2016 from 10 AM until time of service.
