Ruth “Bonnell” Anderson: Obituary

Ruth “Bonnell” Anderson, age 92, of Dahlonega, GA passed away on Sunday January 1, 2017.

Bonnell was a native and lifelong resident of Dahlonega, GA.  She was of the Baptist faith and a member at Cavender Creek Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Gordon and Arminda Robinson Parks.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Jewell Dean “J.D.” Anderson; brothers, Clarence Parks, Howard Parks, H.C. Parks, Charles Parks; sisters, Mamie Barnes, Myrtle Ellis, Florene Ricketts, and Pauline Anderson.

Bonnell is survived by her daughter, Ann Davis, Lawrenceville, GA; brother, Leroy Parks, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Leah Davis-Geltz, Eric Davis, Ashley Hardy, Jonathan Davis; great-grandchildren, Taylor Geltz, Zackery Geltz, Cash Hardy, Eli Hardy and Brodie Davis.  Numerous other relatives also survive.

Graveside services for Bonnell are scheduled for 3:30 PM Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Cavender Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Monday January 2, 2017 from 5 PM until 8 PM.
