Mrs. Patsy Tritt Rider: Obituary

Patsy Tritt Rider, age 70, a lifelong resident of Dahlonega, GA passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center from a sudden illness on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 with her family at her side.

Pasty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Zachary was the twinkle in her eye.  Her family and friends were always important to her as they were all very close.  She worked many years for the State of Georgia and had a love for her job that always shown through in her work ethic.  She was a member of Concord Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Hoyt Wendell and Azalea Head Tritt.  Patsy is also preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Rebecca Tritt.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Luther Rider; daughter, Shannon Rider, Dahlonega, GA; grandson, Zachary Powell, Dahlonega, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie Tritt and Laura Brashears, Luther, OK, Ricky and Trudy Tritt, Dahlonega, GA, Yogi Tritt, Fayetteville, GA, Darrell Tritt; sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Bud Adams, Dahlonega, GA.  Nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Patsy are scheduled for 3 PM Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home on Thursday, February 02, 2017 from 6 PM until 9 PM and again on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 10 AM until time of service.
