Mrs. Crystal Dawn Shirley: Obituary

Crystal Dawn Shirley, age 35, of Clermont, GA passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017.

Crystal loved fishing and enjoyed sharing that time with her children.  She was everybody’s mama, once you came around her.  She loved to sing, and could always be found drinking coffee with every meal.  Crystal was most excited and looking forward to becoming a grandma!

Crystal is survived by her husband, AD Shirley, Jr., Dahlonega, GA; son, AD Shirley, III, Dahlonega, GA; daughters, Ruby Dawn Shirley, Dahlonega, GA, Mary Kathleen Shirley, Uniontown, KY; parents, Gary Workman, Commerce, GA, Robert and Kathleen Gooch, Clermont, GA; mother-in-law, “Sweet Pea” Shirley; brothers and sister-in-law, Christopher Lee and Nicole Evans, Jefferson, GA, Gary Robert Workman, Clermont, GA; sister, Candi Washburn, Clermont, GA; and grandson, Drake Allen Fulkerson.  Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Crystal are scheduled for 1 PM Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Shane Savage and AD Shirley, III will officiate.

Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville, GA.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 5 PM to 9 PM and again on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 10 AM until service time.
