Deputy John Simpson said when he arrived, he met Tesha Mae Robertson, 25, who reported that she had been beaten by Lee, her live-in boyfriend. Robertson said Lee had been drinking heavily all day and got into a face-to-face argument in front of their two-year-old son.
According to the arrest report, Robertson said Lee head butted her, struck her in the eye with his fist then used his foot to push her down the front steps at their home. When he went inside and into another room, she went inside, retrieved her son and went next door to her mother’s home and called 911.
Deputy Simpson stated that Robertson’s left eye was swollen and there was a red mark on her forehead.
He then spoke to Lee, who said she probably did it to herself in order to get him in trouble.
Lee was arrested and taken to Lumpkin County Detention Center.
