Mr. Harold Dean Grizzle: Obituary

Harold Dean Grizzle, age 88, of Dahlonega, GA passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Harold Dean was born on December 31, 1928 in Dahlonega, GA where he lived most of his life. He worked at Woody’s Barber Shop for over 25 years. Harold Dean was a member of Hightower Baptist Church. Harold Dean was the son of the late Lawrence and Elma Rider Grizzle. He was the last surviving member of his family and was preceded in death by his sisters, Lottie Thompson, Lela Mae Spriggs, Linda Sears; and brothers, Eugene Grizzle and James Grizzle.

Harold Dean is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Harold Dean are scheduled for 1 PM Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Hightower Baptist Church. Rev. Terry Fields and Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home is Dahlonega on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 6 PM to 9 PM, all day on Monday, May 15, 2017 and again on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 10 AM until time of service.
