Mr. Randy Alan Lingerfelt: Obituary

Mr. Randy Alan Lingerfelt, age 60, of Jasper passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

Randy was born in Lincolnton, NC on December 13, 1956 to the late Roland and Opal Thornburg Lingerfelt.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Lingerfelt.  Randy was retired from the U.S. Postal Service having worked as a mail carrier in Roswell, GA and a clerk in Jasper, GA.

Survivors include his daughters, Lydia Lingerfelt, Jasper and Christina Graves, New York; brother and sister in law, Roger and Jill Lingerfelt, Monroe; sister in law, Maggie Lingerfelt, Suches; nephews, Mathew Lingerfelt, Smyrna; Jason Richards, Tavernier, FL; and niece, Magdalene McDonald, Dahlonega.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4 P.M. Saturday, September, 23, 2017 at Banister Funeral Home Chapel.  Officiating will be Mr. Roger Lingerfelt and Mr. Robert McDonald. Interment will follow in Zion Baptist Church in Suches, GA.  The family will receive friends from 1-4 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
