Donald Martin DeHart, age 76, of Dahlonega passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018.
Mr. DeHart was born May 20, 1941 in Robbinsville, NC to the late Fred James DeHart and Rosie L. Prince DeHart. Donald was a former crane operator and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Michael DeHart, sisters, Dorothy Holland, Eulah Alley and Beulah Conn.
Survivors include his wife, Louise DeHart, Dahlonega; son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Jacki DeHart, Dahlonega; daughter-in-law, Jackie DeHart, Cumming; grandchildren, Kayla DeHart, Shannon DeHart, Leah DeHart; brother, Ray DeHart, Dahlonega; sisters, Gladys McClain, Ashville, NC; Joyce Ray, Ashville, NC; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Chapel of Banister Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Monday and again on Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
