Mr. Robert Russell Stowers, Sr., age 78, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018.
Mr. Stowers was born in Lumpkin County on February 27, 1940 to the late Hayne and Callena Stowers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Suzanne Stalls Stowers. Mr. Stowers lived a quiet and peaceable life. He was a member of Etowah Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son Roberts Russell Stowers, Jr., Dawsonville; granddaughter Raven Marie Stowers , Jacksonville, FL; aunt Madge Whelchel, Dawsonville; and cousins Brenda Hanson, Dahlonega; Martha Elliott, Blairsville; Rhonda Huckeby, Dawsonville; Carolyn McMachan, Sweet Water, TN; and Boyd and Blanche Stowers, Dawsonville.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Banister Funeral Home from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
