Hopkins Named Third Team All-Conference

AUGUSTA – University of North Georgia men’s basketball player Shawn Hopkins was named to the Peach Belt Conference’s Third Team All-Conference as announced by the league at the tournament banquet Friday night.

Hopkins, a senior from Nokia, Finland, finished the year as the conference’s seventh-leading scorer at 16.1 points per game. He had double figures in 25 games this season, scoring 20 or more in seven of those games. He was seventh in the league in minutes per game and finished the season with one double-double.
