This week’s Weekly Word Devotional

By: Stephen A. Brown, Marketplace Ministries, inc.

The book HIDING PLACE is Corrie ten Boom’s story of her family hiding Jews in their home during the Nazi reign of terror. They were captured, imprisoned, and Corrie was the only family survivor. She was faced with a choice to be bitter or better. A Christian, Corrie choose to forgive. Following the war, she traveled Europe sharing her story, encouraging others to forgive because God forgives us. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus teaches we should love our enemies. How? Thank you for asking. The indwelling power of the Holy Spirit.
