LUMPKIN COUNTY, Ga. — The Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners released this statement on the Coronavirus situation Wednesday (April 11)
Community and Employee Services Director Alicia Davis released the following press release Wednesday (April 11).
There are no known cases of Coronavirus/COVID-19 in our 13-county health district. Lumpkin County is communicating daily with our state and community partners. We have emergency procedures in place and our leadership is prepared to pro-actively address the issues related to this unique virus.
Additionally, our Emergency Services department is prepared to respond appropriately to emergency calls, should the need arise. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/prevention.html and the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) https://dph.georgia.gov/novelcoronavirus are the official sources of information for mitigating your risk.
