LUMPKIN COUNTY, Ga. –The Lumpkin County Tax Commissioner’s Office will reopen for limited in-person visits on Thursday, May 7, 2020. Only individuals who need to complete title transfers will be served. Please continue to process all other transactions on line. The Tax Commissioner’s Office hours are 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office is located in Suite E in the Administration Building, 99 Courthouse Hill, Dahlonega.
Access to the Administration Building will be through the North entrance (old library side). Patrons should be prepared to stand in line. Only ten (10) visitors will be allowed in the facility at a time and everyone will be required to maintain social distancing standards as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We ask that only one person per family enter the facility to complete the transaction.
