ATLANTA — The Georgia Departmnet of Public Health (DPH) reported the first coronavirus death in Lumpkin County today (Apr. 27). The patient was a 58-year-old male with underlying causes. State officials did not release any additional information.
Lumpkin County Emergency Services Director David Wimpy said he had not received that information yet. However, Lumpkin County Public Health Office Manager Linda Truelove said she did receive confirmation.
