City Council Election Results

LUMPKIN COUNTY, Ga. -The results are in for the 2021 Election of City Council Post 1, Post 2, and Post 3.

Post 1 the incumbent Roman Gadis ran unopposed and won re-election. Post 2 Ross Shirley ran also unopposed and won the post. Post 3 Ryan Reagin won after a long campaign against Tammi Scales.

Post 3 was between Tammi Scales and Ryan Reagin. Since moving to Daholenga Scales has been a very active member of the community taking part in the Leadership Lumpkin class among many others. Regan is a postal worker and real estate broker and has grown up in the county.

Gadis has been on the council since 2014, he is a native of the area and is very active in the community. Shirley is a retired Army veteran and a graduate of North Georgia College.
