Lumpkin County road closures persist after storm

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Following the anticipated storm’s aftermath, Lumpkin County government issued a statement on its social media regarding road closures:

 

Two Lumpkin County roads will remain closed until local power companies are able to remove power lines from trees that are in the roadways. Sheep Wallow Road near address 310 and Porter Springs Road between Willow Pond and U.S. 19 are closed. For your safety, please do not attempt to drive around the road closure signs.
