All Region 7AAA Team Announced- Faulkner Named POTY

Region 7AAA- Lumpkin County had a season to remember in 2023, rattling off 12 straight victories that included their first ever Region Title and first ever quarterfinals appearance in the GHSA State Playoffs. A bug part of their success this year was the play of QB/DB Cal Faulkner, who was named Region 7AAA player of the year by the regions coaches.

Lumpkin, Pickens, White, and Gilmer County players littered the All Region team, but the Indians took the cake as 12 players were named to the All Region first team.
