Northeast Georgia FCA Announces Leadership Transition as Josh Haymore Steps into New Regional Role

PRESS RELEASE – The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in Northeast Georgia is excited to announce a leadership transition as Josh Haymore, current Director of FCA at the University of North Georgia (UNG), steps into the new role of Director for 400 North FCA, which serves Dawson and Lumpkin counties.

Haymore has served with FCA for the past 2.5 years, leading with a heart for discipleship and campus ministry at UNG in Dahlonega. In his new position, he will expand his oversight to include FCA’s ministry efforts across the 400 North area while continuing to support UNG FCA’s ongoing growth.

“Josh has been an incredible leader on the UNG campus,” said Aaron Mann, Northeast Georgia FCA Director. “His passion for developing student leaders and serving coaches has left a lasting impact, and we are excited to see how God continues to use him as he steps into this broader regional role.”

With this transition taking place January 1, 2026, Emily Sabbagh and Dalton Teal, full-time FCA staff members at UNG, will take on day-to-day leadership of campus ministry efforts, ensuring continued momentum in engaging student-athletes and coaches with the Gospel.

FCA believes this new transition reflects a season of growth and opportunity for the ministry across Northeast Georgia.

“We’ve seen incredible doors open across our region,” said Mann. “This move allows us to strengthen our existing ministry while reaching even more athletes, coaches, andcommunities with the love of Jesus Christ.”

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes serves coaches and athletes through Bible studies, team times, community events, and campus outreach. The Northeast Georgia FCA area includes over 90 schools across 9 counties, two of which are Dawson and Lumpkin County.
