LUMPKIN COUNTY, Ga. – Three people suffered non-life threatening injuries Sunday (May 10) in a head-on collision on Ben Higgins Road south of Crabapple Lane.

According to the Georgia State Patrol accident report, 20-year-old Danielle Landers of Dahlonega was traveling south on Ben Higgins Road, attempting to negotiate a curve to the right. All three victims were transported to local hospitals.

Alcohol/drug use was not a factor in this crash.

All three motorists were wearing their seatbelts. Air bag deployment was present in both vehicles.

Ben Higgins Road was closed down for a short time due to the amount of debris in the roadway and first responders assisting the injured persons. It was reopened shortly before 1400 hours.
