Mrs. Linda Lou Warren Dowdy age 66 passed away on February 10, 2016 in McRae Georgia following an extended illness. Mrs. Dowdy was born on April 6th, 1949 in Morganton, Georgia and a member of Morganton Baptist Church and was of Baptist faith.

Mrs. Dowdy is preceded in death by her husband Henry Dowdy.

She is survived by her daughter Cindy Dowdy Hunsinger (Vince) and grandchildren Sebastian and Sarah Hunsinger all of Dahlonega, brother and sisters Barbara Taylor (Bart) of Morganton, GA, Brenda Chastain (Richard) of Ocee, GA; Jackie Warren of Blue Ridge, GA; Ruth Ann Waters (Lonnie) of Jasper, GA; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday February 13, 2016 at 2 pm at the Dahlonega Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega.

Family will receive friends on Friday February 12 from 4pm until 8pm.
