Mr. Jewell “Dean” Beasley: Obituary

Jewell “Dean” Beasley, age 83, a life-long resident of Dahlonega, GA passed away April 5, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Dean is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Mae Beasley; wife, Virginia Beasley; brother, Robert Beasley, and sisters, Marion Patterson and Edna Beasley.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Danny Ingram, Dahlonega, GA, Janet and Cliff McCracken, Dahlonega, GA; sister, Lou Head, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer and Harry Snelgrove, Angela and Kyle Anderson, Brianna Beasley, Christina and Richie Stephens; great-grandchildren, Kaley Snelgrove, Holden Snelgrove, Austin Dean Fortner, and Cora Lynn Anderson. Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Dean are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev. Randall Hulsey will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Mount Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 4 PM to 9 PM and again on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 10 AM until time of service.
