Mr. Ted Keen Flynt: Obituary

Ted Keen Flynt, 62, of Dahlonega, Georgia, succumbed to cancer at his home surrounded by his family on May 15th, 2016.

Ted is survived by his wife Judi of 34 years, daughters Hillyer Peirce and Alison Flynt, son Keene Flynt, daughter-in-law Jennifer Flynt, son-in-law John (Scooter)Peirce, mother Jacqueline Northington, sister Cynde Neal, grandsons Lawson and Flynt Greene, and grandaughter Ellie Flynt, nieces, nephews and extended family. Ted was a loving husband, Father, grandfather and friend to all.   Ted “Hoss Dog” loved golf and all his buddies at Achasta.  He also had a lifetime love of the Georgia Bulldogs and has enjoyed going to Georgia Football games for many years. His love of sports was evident by his involvement for many years with his children’s sporting activities. He worked as a plumbing contractor for over 40 years both in Macon, Georgia and here in Dahlonega.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Dahlonega Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 17th. Funeral Services for Ted will be on Wednesday, May 18th at 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Ted will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Dahlonega Memorial Park.

Memoriums in his honor can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation,  and to Northeast Georgia Hospice.
