Rebecca Stephenson age 42 of Dahlonega passed away peacefully on October 5, 2016 following an extended illness. Rebecca loved working at Park and Rec, the beach, animals and spending time with her family.  No one ever spoke anything but kind words about her.  She will be forever missed.

Rebecca is survived by her parents Harvey and Josephine Brooks of Dahlonega; daughter Jordin Ballard of Orange Beach, AL; sister Johanna Ballard of Gainesville, GA; brother Alex (Amanda) Ballard of Winder, Ga; sister Beverly Ortiz (Ernest) of Gainesville, GA; sister Vickie Murck of Gainesville, GA and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday October 8, 2016 at 4pm in the Chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home, family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12pm until service time. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations for end of life expenses.
