MOREHEAD, Ky. – Sophomore Dakota Spivey set a new University of North Georgia school record with an aggregate score of 1166 Saturday morning finishing as the top individual in the 20th-ranked UNG rifle team’s solo-meet at No. 18 Morehead State. The Nighthawks would come up short in the team totals however, 4618-4588. UNG set a new team smallbore record shooting 2272 in the event on the day.

SMALLBORE
Spivey set a new personal record with a 578 to lead the way for UNG, with Jared Rice providing the second best score of the day for the Nighthawks. Tobin Sanctuary equaled his previous best score in smallbore at 565.

AIR RIFLE
The Dahlonega native continued his incredible shooting with a 588 in air rifle to pace the Nighthawks. Ruthanne Connerfollowed with a 581, with Rice providing the third highest score for UNG at 578.
