DAHLONEGA, Ga. — The Dahlonega City Council will hold a series of public hearings during it’s intial meeting of 2017 Tuesday at 6 p.m. in City Hall, 465 Riley Road in Dahlonega.

The first hearing will be on an Annexation and rezoning application submitted by the City of Dahlonega on behalf of owner James C. Park.

The next will be on a rezoning application submitted by the City of Dahlonega on behalf of Mr. Parks for rezoning from a) O-I with conditions to O-I with conditions replacing prior conditions and revised site plan; and b) rezoning from R-1 with conditions to R-I with conditions replacing prior conditions and revised site plan.

The third public hearing will be for two new lots in a subdivision located on Moores Drive in Dahlonega that was originally approved for a total of ten (10) lots submitted by City of Dahlonega on behalf of Mr. Parks.
Dahlonega’s Planning Commission recommended approval.

Council will also consider approval of an Alcohol Beverage License for Hickory Prime BBQ, Karen Ansell, Owner, for Beer, Wine, Distilled Spirits for Consumption and Sunday Sales.
