Mr. John Abercrombie: Obituary

John Abercrombie, age 86, of Dahlonega, GA passed away at home on Tuesday January 18, 2017.

Johnny was born on December 6, 1930 and was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County.

He was the son of the late Alfonzo and Annie Mae Reeves Abercrombie.  He is also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Genova Abercrombie; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Vickie Abercrombie; daughters, Cheryl Parks, and Jennifer Evans,; sister, Mary Baliles, all of Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Phillip Abercrombie, Tim Abercrombie, Heather Parks, Carla Vela, Makayla Parks; great-grandchildren, Johnovan Barron, Ariceli Vela, and Conner Abercrombie.  Numerous relatives also survive.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Wednesday January 18, 2017 from 6 PM until 9 PM.

At his request, there will be no services held.
