Lumpkin Republicans Celebrate Inauguration Day

DAHLONEGA, Ga. — As President Donald J. Trump and the First Lady celebrated his inauguration by attending glitzy, formal balls in Washington, D.C., the “people” he pledged to return the government were no less celebratory, just a little less formal.

Lumpkin County Republicans partied the way southerners are inclined to do, with good fellowship and great barbecue at Smokin’ Gold BBQ in Dahlonega.
After eight years of the liberal left leadership of Barack Obama, Republicans are ecstatic that the Trump Train has reached its ultimate destination — The White House!

President Trump’s Inaugural address was short and to the point — less than 15 minutes. But his promise to make “America first” resonated with conservatives across the country, especially in Lumpkin County.
Lumpkin County Republican Party Chairman Tim Youngblood said, “America needs to be first. The United States is the best nation in the world. We don’t need to apologize for America’s greatness and success.”

The good old fashioned down home celebration stood in stark contrast to the anger exhibited by the rioting of far left that led to 217 arrests in Washington, D.C.

“We had a great crowd with great enthusiasm last night. Every seat was filled.”
