Margie Lee Beavers, age 74, of Ellijay, GA passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017.
She was a loving mama and nana who took anyone in to her home and took care of them. Margie will be missed by those she loved.
Margie was the daughter of the late Earnest and Leonia Rider Reece. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Allen Beavers; and son, Robert Reece.
Margie is survived by her son, Tony Grindle, Ellijay, GA; daughter and fiancé, Brenda Lester and Richard Johnson, Ellijay, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Bobby Grant, Dawsonville, GA; daughters, Becky Hardin, Ellijay, GA, Joann Milum, Dahlonega, GA; brother, Harold Reece, Dawsonville, GA; sisters, Tamer Turner, Dawsonville, GA, Louise Smith, Dawsonville, GA, Vundell Rice, Dawsonville, GA; 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Numerous other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Margie are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Mill Creek Baptist Church.
Rev. Joseph Simmons and Rev. Tim Pruitt will officiate.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 5 PM to 9 PM, Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 10 AM to 9 PM, and again on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 10 AM until 1 PM.
