Lumpkin Co. Drug Bust Nets $4,500 in Methamphetamine

LUMPKIN COUNTY, Ga. — The Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and agents with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) arrested 37-year-old Kristen Johnson of White County Wednesday and seized 45 grams of meth with a street value of approximately $4,500.
After a month-long investigation, Johnson’s car was stopped on Ga. Hwy. 400 at 7:49 p.m. A search of her person and vehicle produced the drugs. She is currently in the Lumpkin County Detention Center pending charges for trafficking Methamphetamines, Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamines, Possession of Marijuana (Misdemeanor), and Failure to Maintain Lane.
No bond has not been set at this time.
