Floyd Means Mattox, age 62, of Dahlonega, GA passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017.
Bub always had his watch and radio with him at all times. He is at peace and ready to go home now.
Floyd was the son of the late Albert and Fannie Dean Mattox.
Floyd is survived by his brother, John Albert Mattox, Douglasville, GA; sisters, Karen Blackwell, Dahlonega, GA, Janice Mattox, Dawsonville, GA; nieces and nephews, Marsha Blackwell, Tammy and Joseph Brown, Matthew Norrell; great nieces and nephew, Little Joe, Nevaeh, and Mya. Numerous other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Floyd are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.
Rev. Rex Fuller and Rev. Roger Abernathy will officiate.
Interment will follow in Duke’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Cleveland, GA.
The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 12 Noon until service time.
