Mrs. Fannie Lee Gaddis: Obituary

Fannie Lee Gaddis age 90 of Dahlonega passed away on April 17th, 2017 following an extended illness.  Mrs. Gaddis was a native of Lumpkin County and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Dahlonega.  Mrs. Gaddis was a part of the bereavement food ministry group in the church. She was the original founder of the cemetery fund at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Gaddis is preceded by her parents Wash Rider and Lillie Shelton Rider and her husband Claude W. Gaddis.

Fannie is survived by her daughter Shirley Gooch of Dahlonega, GA and son Lee (Debria) Gaddis of Woodstock, GA; sister Mamie Reed of Cumming, GA; grandchildren Tony (Gracie) Gooch of Folkston, GA; Gretchen (Steve) Caldwell of Canton, GA; Tasha (Doug) Whitener of Marietta, GA; great grandchildren; Jordan Gooch, Maggie Gooch, Shawn (Rebekah) Caldwell, and Peyton Whitener.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday April 19, 2017 from 3pm until 5pm and 6pm until 8pm, again on Thursday from 11 am until 1 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 2pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Rev. Kris Butler and Rev. Nick Rice will officiate.
