Eddie Harrison Carlan age 63 of Dahlonega passed away on May 30, 2017 following an extended illness. Mr. Carlan moved from Greene county in 1968 and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He enjoyed racing go karts, repairing and selling boats, building guitars that he mainly gave away; and music.
Mr. Carlan is preceded by his parents Harrison & Miriam Carlan and grandson Devin Wood.
Mr. Carlan is survived by his wife Brenda Carlan, children Angela Carlan Coyne of Cleveland, Ga, Pamela (Kevin) Thomas of Dahlonega, Michael David (Darlene) Carlan of Watertown, NY; sister Susan (Ralph) Fitts of Dahlonega; grandchildren Cody Wood, Beverly Belz, Courtney Carlan, Kerigan Carlan, Ethan Merck, and Lucas Hall.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 3rd, 2017 at 2pm in the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 12pm until service time.
