Mr. Leonard D. “Danny” Goss: Obituary

Leonard D. “Danny” Goss, age 80 of Dahlonega passed away Saturday, June 03, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. He was born in the New Liberty community of Habersham County to the late Leonard D.C. Goss and Ruby Fry Goss on May 20, 1937. Mr. Goss worked for Southern Switches for 32 years retiring as plant manager. He served his country with honor in the U.S. Army and was a fateful member of Dahlonega Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his granddaughter; Carolyn Daniele Goss, brother; Mike Goss, and sister; Dixie Goss.

Mr. Goss is survived by his wife; Ruth Hill Goss, son and daughter in law; Scott and Abby Goss, sisters and brothers in law; Carollyn and Edsel Thomas, and Faye and Milton Ferguson, grandson; Kane Goss.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 3 until 5 PM. A celebration of life service will be held in the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 2 PM with the Rev. Bill Hutcheson and Trevor Thomas officiating.
