Mr. Ricky A. McDonald: Obituary

Ricky A. McDonald, age 50, of Dahlonega, GA passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 due to an extended illness.

Ricky always wore a smile and was always laughing.  He was everyone’s hero, going that extra mile to help anyone, usually putting them before himself.

Ricky is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Dwayne Lewallen.

Ricky is survived by his parents Carolyn and Claude Moore, Dahlonega, GA; daughter and her fiancé, Kimberly Biggs and David Wallace, Dahlonega, GA; sister and her fiancé, Donna Lewallen and Todd Holley, Martin, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and James Flanagan, Gainesville, GA; granddaughters, Alexandra, Arianniah and Sophia Wallace; nieces and nephews, Matthew and Desiree Chambers, Whitney Flanagan, and Stephen Flanagan.  Aunts, uncles, great nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives that deeply love him also survive.

Funeral services for Ricky are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Elizabeth Flanagan and Rev. Darryl Walden will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Murrayville, GA.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 5 PM to 9 PM, all day on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, and Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 10 AM until time of service.
