Mr. Richard Michael “Ricky” Wright: Obituary

Mr. Richard Michael “Ricky” Wright, age 55, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Wright was born in Ellijay, GA on February 18, 1962. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Harold Wright and step-father Raymond Chastain.  Mr. Wright worked as an auto-mechanic. He worked for John Megel Chevrolet, Cody Chevrolet, and Hardman GMC.  Mr. Wright enjoyed R/C toys of all kinds.  He was a jack-of-all trades.

Survivors include his wife, Shari Wright, Cleveland; daughter and son in law, Crystal Dale and Will Martin, Ellijay; step-daughter and son in law, Shea and Chad Ray, Clermont; step-daughters Jennifer Wimpy, Dahlonega; Meaghan Matt, Flowery Branch; step-son, John Sullivan, Auburn; mother, Pat Chastain, Dahlonega; step-mother, Mary Wright, Ellijay, sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Doug Soule, Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Laura Lathem, Dahlonega; sister, Beth Wright, Ellijay; mother in law and father in law, Janet and Ray Jones, Zephyrhills, FL; brother in law and sister in law, Bob and Diane Sullivan, Winder; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ed and Mary Ellen Sullivan, Pittsburgh, PA several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 7 P.M. Monday, June 26, 2017 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

The Rev. Joe Simmons and The Rev. Jeff Durham will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Monday from 3 PM until the service time.
