Betty Jean Faine Kellam: Obituary

Mrs. Betty Jean Faine Kellam, age 88, of Dahlonega, formerly of Toccoa, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018.

Betty Jean was born in Buncombe County, NC on May 31, 1929. She is preceded in death by her husband, Currie M. “Sonny” Kellam and her parents Alvin Parks and Lillie Holbrook Faine. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Jewell Madden, Wrethea Holbrook, Edna Mitchell, Myrtle Adams, and Tommy Faine.

She is survived by her daughter, Jujuan Kristine Jupe, of Lake Worth, FL; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00pm Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the chapel of Banister Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Wilkes will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
