Carol Ann Bowers, 72 passed away peacefully in her home on February 13, 2019. A celebration of her life will be 4PM, Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the Chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home. She was born in Scranton, PA on June 24, 1946 to the late Daniel V. and Crystal L. Cordelli. Carol was a graduate of Richard Montgomery High in Rockville, MD. She started her career as a reservationist for United Airlines where she met her husband Daniel E. Bowers of 51 years. She went on to become a flight attendant and recently celebrated 52 years flying for Delta Airlines based out of Atlanta, GA. Carol was passionate about animals. She and her husband Daniel were active in the Dahlonega Animal Shelter and adopted 10 cats and dogs over the years. Her parents, two brothers, Ronald J and Daniel V. Cordelli, Jr (Kathy) predeceased her in death. She is survived by her husband Daniel Bowers, sister Melanie Page (Rocky), brother Gregory Cordelli, nieces Amber Cordelli, Amanda Cordelli and nephews Justin Cordelli and Gregory Cordelli, Jr. Carol and her family would like to thank Pam Wright for the loving care she provided to Carol through her illness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made in Carol’s honor to the American Cancer Society.
