DAHLONEGA, Ga. – On Tuesday (April 2) from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. single lane closures will occur on State Route 11/US 129 to allow replacement of drainage pipes that cross under the route.
Georgia Department of Transportation maintenance team members will have flagging operators between State Route 180 and the Union/Lumpkin County line (near mile marker 2).
This work replaces corrugated metal pipes prior to the resurfacing project on State Route 11/US 129 which is scheduled to begin mid-April.
Drivers are asked to slow down when approaching the work zone.
