Scattered severe storms are expected today as a strong storm
system moves across the state. Damaging winds and a few tornadoes
can be expected. The threat for severe weather will end this
evening.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday...

Another front will move across the state Thursday and Friday
bringing another chance of thunderstorms to the area.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WINDS...South 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* TIMING...4 AM to 10 PM Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. If
  grounds are more saturated from rain, then trees will be more
  prone to being knocked down or uprooted. A few power outages
  may result.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of at least
20 mph...or gusts to 35 mph or stronger are expected. Winds this
strong can make driving difficult...especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution.
