Roberts finishes tied for 7th, Nighthawks 5th in PBC Tourney

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Carson Roberts shot a final round 78 to finish in a tie for seventh at the Peach Belt Championship as the University of North Georgia women’s golf team finished in fifth place in the tournament.

North Georgia shot a 957 for the 54-hole tournament, good for the third-best 54 hole score in program history. Roberts’ three round score of 233 is good for a tie for second in program history, tying Mariana Pelaez from the 2014 West Georgia Invitational.

Flagler won the team title after shooting the lowest round of the day at 303, winning by 11 strokes over UNC Pembroke. Columbus State finished in third, followed by Young Harris and UNG.

Individually, Columbus State’s Victoria Libaak won the tournament by one stroke over two players with a 225 score.
