Lexi Pierce is the TeamFYNSports Player of the Week for the Lumpkin Co. Lady Indians!
Pierce, a freshman guard, led the team in scoring in a win last week for Lumpkin Co. (15-9, 6-6 Region 7-3A).
Against North Hall (17-8, 8-4) on Friday, Jan. 28, in Dahlonega, Pierce scored a team-high 16 points in a 51-36 win that locked up the No. 4 seed for the region tournament.
The Lady Indians will face fifth-seeded Fannin Co. at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5, at North Hall in the first round of the region tournament.
For her efforts, Pierce is the TeamFYNSports Player of the Week for the Lady Indians!
