COMMERCE, Ga — Recently introduced Congressional Candidate Michael Boggus, who is running for Ninth District Congress in the state of Georgia, has established his campaign ideas upon the basis of family, ambition, and patriotism.

Growing up in Gainesville, Michael has experienced firsthand the necessity of working in diligence and consistency to attain his financial and familial goals that he has achieved through his attendance of trade school and gaining expertise in blue collar work as a crane operator.

His life, however, would experience a drastic turn after a tragic loss in his family that was directly caused by governmental ineptitude, overreach, and corruption in the pharmaceutical industry. This event would prove to be immensely impactful upon Michael’s life goals and perspective, and instill within his spirit the persistent conviction to alleviate the problems within our inefficient government that has failed its citizens.

Living in Commerce with his wife Maggie and two daughters, Alyssa and Madison, Michael has set his sights on Washington with the devoted, tenacious intention of becoming an instrument of public service to drastically reform the current corporatist political system. He is a firm believer in prioritizing patriotism over political partisanship and corporate funding, and anticipates bringing that revitalized message of the American people back into Congress.

Focusing on policies that would reduce taxation for the middle class, combat big pharma’s control over the American economy, stimulate economic development through the encouragement of entrepreneurship, defend second amendment rights, and preserve the People’s autonomy through the tenth amendment from government overreach and intervention, Michael brings a refreshing, populist message to politics, in the hopes of reminding the government that its responsibility is to protect and defend the rights of Americans, rather than restrict them.

Through various fundraising efforts and auctions, Michael has demonstrated his extensive experience and competency in funding political events and endeavors through financial cooperation with the American people, rather than relying upon political action committees or financial contributions from mega-corporations. On a localized level, he has been involved in several endeavors to bring these changes to fruition, most notably in raising the finances necessary to travel to Washington in November of 2019 to deliver a list of grievances to several senators in the Capitol.

Now, with political experience, blue-collar work ethic, and populist appeal under his belt, Michael looks forward to the future opportunity that he has in serving the American people in Congress. Through the continued support of patriotic, middle class Americans, he can serve as a reckoning force in a political sphere previously dominated by corporate interests and partisan pawns, and make “We the People” the predominant slogan of the American government, once again.
