Georgia Department of Revenue develops licensing portal

Centralized Alcohol Licensing Portal Now Available

In a collaborative effort with local governments, the Georgia Department of Revenue has developed a centralized state-wide Alcohol Licensing Portal (“ALP”). This web-based secure portal ensures both the Department of Revenue and local licensing jurisdictions such as Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners, receive, review, and process all retail alcohol applications in the ALP, and is intended to streamline the retail alcohol initial registration and renewal licensing process. Only retail beer/wine, consumption on premises (includes distilled spirits), and special events permits are eligible to be processed through this portal.
